What does Valentines mean to you? The stores take this as another blooming money maker of peoples heart strings. How many roses does it take to say I Love You? Candy is just dandy to entertain your sweet tooth. Not to remind us of the time it takes to remove the calories consumed when you partake of a delight of your taste buds. Who cares it only happens once a year. How do people feel about having their birthday on Valentines day? Some say they are so sick of hearts. This happens if your birthday falls close to Christmas, you somehow seem to have the presents backed up one on top of the other.
What are your favorite memories of Valentines Day? Was it your first crush? Was it just handing out cards in class when you were little. Maybe sitting beside the road selling baskets and having fun entertaining one another even if no one stopped to buy. I think that is the fun of having a road side stand or yard sale getting to meet new people. It doesn't matter what you give or receive it all matters that it came from your special mate.
Making something handmade means more than just receiving store bought convections or cards.When you know you are loved it is a special day for all lovers at heart. Take in a movie and Dinner, spend some quality time so you give as well as receive great company with your special one.
The children cherish the cards that they make for others. The imagination is at work when they are given the paper, scissors, glue to make their own handmade creations. Adults may say they are crude but they have to learn how to do this as they mature through time. Always compliment them so they will continue to make and enjoy the smiles of their friends when they receive them.
